Berelyse: Nico Candle

Scent notes: bourbon, leather, tobacco

[R. M. GARDENER: Oh, Nico… In my mind’s eye, I see him standing before me, a glass of bourbon cradled in his hand. Underneath his laughter is the rhythmic clink of his heavy rings against heavier glass. I can’t tell what he’s laughing at — I missed the context, if this amusement comes from his own joke or another’s misfortune. I wonder if my own reaction — a confused smile — would change were I to know the truth.

He tells me he wants a smoke. A fantasy, I know, but one I find fitting. I would stand just outside his home, he in his leather boots and me in slippers he let me borrow, and I would watch the smoke curl from his lips and dance away into the gray sky above. 

The candle contains 7oz of 100% soy wax. Each candle is hand-poured with love and perseverance. Due to the handmade nature of these products, no two are exactly alike. Frosting (crystalline structures within the candle’s wax) is a normal effect in 100% soy candles and does not affect the way the candles burn.

And of course, never leave a candle’s flame unattended. Fire has a way of wreaking havoc.]
